Digital Health PORTUGAL is born out of the need to lobby for the Portuguese healthcare technology offer and the creation of international demand for our products and services.
With the support of the agency More Results, we are trying to understand the reality of companies operating in the area of digital health.
For this purpose, we would like to count on your cooperation in filling out a short questionnaire, which should not exceed 5 minutes, depending on your answers.

The Portuguese eHealth Strategy
The Portuguese eHealth strategy has been referred to as exemplary by the WHO since 2015, which culminated with the ENESIS 2020, approved by the Portuguese Government.
The renewed strategy ENESIS 2022 aims to create the framework and conditions through which the various actors of the health system can contribute to the evolution of the health information ecosystem, becoming a benchmark of good practices, promoting the benefits of health delivery and resources optimization.
This approach goes beyond the portuguese
National Health Service and extends to the entire Health System in alignment with the new
National Health Act.
The result is a common vision for Health Information Systems and Technology that guides and orients the strategies and initiatives of the various ecosystem actors to progress collaboratively towards common goals.
Digital Health Portugal members are all entities that belong to the health ecosystem in Portugal and have a stake in digital health since there are no barriers to become a member.
Our main objective is to raise the excellence of the Portuguese healthcare ecosystem in an international context. It is intended to be an agile ecosystem, with concrete actions and relevant projection in the media:
- Encourage and support knowledge generation in a sector that intersects politics, technology and innovation.
- Enable policy makers to take the pulse of the demands and needs of health ecosystem professionals in Portugal.
- Create onsite momentum via events, seminars, workshops and digital tools such as microsites, webinars, distance learning for the sharing and discussion of ideas on health-related issues.
- To create an inter-company dynamic for the exchange of ideas, knowledge sharing and business generation in the areas of health and healthcare, as well as sharing experiences in the internationalization of products and services.
- Share international best practices with the various stakeholders and provide information on European health policy and general guidelines.
- Put Portuguese companies on the radar of possible investors and make them ready for scaling up.

Digital Health Europe is a major European initiative in the context of the Digital Single Market Strategy to support citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data across borders, better data to advance research, disease prevention and personalised health, and care digital tools for citizen empowerment and person-centred care.
A key EU priority is the support to large scale deployment of digital solutions for person-centred integrated care via a twining scheme . The last call is now officially closed but we want to replicate this process at a national in Portugal level so contact us if you have a digital health solution or well tried proof of concept that you want to expand to other organizations in the country.

APDSI announces the Conference 'Digital in the continuous promotion of health and well-being', which will take place in the JJ Laginha Auditorium at ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute.
This year, the Health Innovation Conference promoted by APDSI aims to encourage debate and presentation of innovative methods and solutions that enable the strengthening of the promotion of health and well-being continuously among citizens.
